THE TRAVEL ENTHUSIAST BEHIND LR TRAVEL CO.

Meet Lindsay

LR Travel Co. was established in 2023, but Lindsay’s passion for travel began much earlier, during her first ever trip to London 22 years ago. Her mom handed her a guidebook and hop-on hop-off bus tickets and let Lindsay and her brother plan their entire week. Since then, Lindsay has visited 33 countries across six continents, with Europe and North America being her most frequently explored regions.

Growing up, before Lindsay would travel anywhere, her grandma would call her to say “gei gazinta hait and kum gezunterheit,” meaning go in good health and come back in good health. It has stuck with Lindsay ever since.

After finding her work in the fashion industry unfulfilling and limiting, Lindsay pursued a Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship at USC’s Marshall School of Business while serving as the Director of Sales for The Little Market, a non-profit empowering artisans and producers in underserved areas globally.
Prior to moving to Los Angeles, in 2016, Lindsay founded the Bruce C. Abrams Foundation with her brother, supporting mental health research and development worldwide. Through her role as Executive Director at the foundation, Lindsay has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Peru, and India to support the work of non-profit partners, PSI and NEST.
Now residing in Brooklyn with her husband, daughter, and petite goldendoodle, when Lindsay isn’t planning trips for clients, family, and friends, she can be found hiking in Aspen, Colorado, practicing pilates, cooking with her husband, or exploring new restaurants in town.
  • Rwanda to see the gorillas and visit Indego Africa, a non-profit that Lindsay currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Japan to try sushi from the source and explore both the cities and countryside.

Napa and Sonoma for the wine and food!

  • J.K Place in Paris

    Rajmahal Palace in Jaipur

    Borgo Santo Pietro in Tuscany

  • Large MZ Wallace tote - truly fits all of the extras and is my version of a Mary Poppins bag!

Away Bigger Carry-On - I never check a bag (even to India for two weeks!) and this is my go-to suitcase.

  • Peru, specifically exploring Machu Picchu

All of Italy, but especially Lake Como

Anywhere in the mountains, but Aspen, CO has my heart

  • Getting to know our tour guide in Jaipur and deciding to completely change our itinerary for the day based on our conversation. We met with his personal psychic, visited the Gem Palace, and got samosas for lunch at a very casual, local restaurant that we never would have stumbled upon had it not been for our guide. Not only was it the best day, but so far, the psychic has been right about all of his predictions!

  • Make room to be spontaneous! While it is fun to have excursions and activities planned, sometimes the best moments of a trip are the ones that are not planned at all.
